EXALT

Primary Expression: Daily Devotions and Weekend Celebration

We serve an awesome God, who is worthy of our attention and worship! We do this as individuals, connecting daily with Him in our devotions, and as a church family, celebrating together once a week.

Ps 9:2, 99:5, 132:7, 84:10, Heb. 10:25, Col. 1:16

EQUIP

Primary Expression: Small Group Communities and Serving

Every Christian is responsible for growing in Jesus - we cannot do so without other believers. Authentic relationships in small group communities provide us with support and encouragement through accountability, and give us the opportunity to do the same for others While focusing on becoming more like Jesus, it is also vitally important to be serving like Jesus.

Eccl. 4:12, Eph. 4:11-13; 16, Philippians 3:12-14, 2 Timothy 2:2

EXTEND

Primary Expression: Personally sharing Jesus and WellSpring community outreach events

Every Christian has a call and privilege to be the reflection of Jesus to the world. Until we are no longer here on earth, it’s our job to share God's love and grace with everyone we meet.

Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 10:11-15

core values

The eight core values below are not in any particular order, nor do they embody all that we value at WellSpring. Althought they do represent the way we work towards fulfilling our purpose. Essentially they become filters to guide how we do what we do.

We believe every person is to express their worship to God as part of their daily lifestyle.

Our gatherings include expressing and surrendering our worship to the Lord with joy, gladness and thankfulness for who He is and all He has done.

Psalm 13:6, Psalm 29:2, John 4:21-24,

Romans 12:1

We believe pursuing a Spirit-filled life includes

seeking, knowing, and obeying God with all of our heart.

Looking to the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and develop His fruit in our lives is an intentional pursuit. Walking in the Spirit - with integrity - is our heart cry!

Ps 78:70-72, Matt. 6:33, Galatians 5:22-25, Colossians 3:23-24

We believe that “doing church as a team” is God’s design for ministry.

Every member is a minister who has been given gifts to be discovered, developed, and used. Christianity is not a spectator sport. We are a gift-based and purpose-focused church.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, 1 Corinthians 12:12; 14-20 Ephesians 4:11-16

We believe the Great Commission is our call to evangelize.

Relating the life of Jesus Christ to people in simple, current and relevant ways will impact and transform lives. People inviting people is our best strategy.

Matt 28:19-20; John 4:34-38; Acts 17:22-25, 1 Cor 9:22-23

We believe in identifying and training leaders

who will reach their generation with the message of Christ.

Children, youth and adults who are fully committed to Christ are coached and mentored, in order to do the same for others.

Exodus 18:14-26; 2 Timothy 2:2; Titus 1:5-9

We believe we have a primary call to impact children and youth.

We realize that providing kids with a firm foundation in Christ

is their best chance to come to know Him and build an

enduring relationship with Him.

Psalm 145:4; Proverbs 22:6; Matthew 18:2-5

We believe accepting and caring relationships

with others are practical expressions of our love for God.

We seek to encourage and edify one another in personal

and small group relationships. Humility and honesty with one another are critical for maturity and growth.

Ephesians 5:2; Philippians 2:1-4;

1 Thessalonians 5:11; 1 John 4:20

We believe that in order to be spiritually mature

we must pursue emotional health.

Emotionally healthy spirituality focuses on being with God rather than doing for God. It is essential to choose a pace of life that nurtures intimacy with God.

Psalm 37:7, Ephesians 3:14-19, Isaiah 30:15
